Wilderness Lodge & Resort Photographer in British Columbia

Wilderness lodges and remote resorts need photography that helps guests understand the experience before they arrive. Sometimes that means clean, accurate room photos for a website or OTA listing. Other times, it means building a fuller image library that shows the setting, food, people, activities, details, and feeling of the place. I create photography for wilderness lodges, resorts, tourism operators, and hospitality brands across British Columbia and beyond. My work brings together experience in tourism, architecture, lifestyle, food, landscape, wildlife, and aerial-style storytelling to create images that feel polished, natural, and useful.

I’m also a pre-qualified photographer for Destination BC, and my experience includes photography for Coastal Rainforest Safaris and Seawolf Adventures, Kingfisher Wilderness Adventures, Destination Vancouver, Discover Surrey, Destination Canada and National Post, and hospitality-related projects, including for the Surrey Hotel & Motel Association.

For remote properties, the location is often part of the reason people book. I approach each shoot around what the property actually needs most, whether that is clear OTA-ready room coverage, a refreshed website gallery, social content, seasonal campaign imagery, or a broader destination story.

I’m based in Vancouver, and much of my tourism and hospitality work takes place across British Columbia and Western Canada. I’m also available for travel for the right wilderness lodge, resort, tourism, or destination-focused project.

For more practical planning advice, I’ve also put together a hotel photoshoot preparation guide covering shot lists, OTA-ready imagery, room prep, food and beverage, lifestyle, aerial coverage, and video.
