Outdoor Brand Photographer in Vancouver & British Columbia: Apparel, Footwear, Gear and Lifestyle Campaigns

Great outdoor brand photography should make a product feel like part of a real life, not something dropped into a pretty location.

I create product-in-use and lifestyle imagery for outdoor brands, apparel companies, footwear brands, gear makers, watch brands, activewear companies, and agencies looking for natural campaign photography in Vancouver, British Columbia, and beyond.

My work has included photography for brands and organizations such as Thursday Boots, Nothing New Sneakers, Northern Icons, Nikon, Aera Watches, Destination Vancouver, and Discover Surrey.

The goal is to create images that feel polished, useful, and believable. Not overly staged. Not generic. Just strong visual storytelling built around real people, real places, and products being used naturally.

For outdoor brands, the product needs to feel like it belongs. That might be boots on a trail, a jacket in the rain, a watch on a hike, a backpack on the coast, or activewear photographed while running, climbing, paddling, or moving through the city. The best images do more than show what something looks like. They show how it feels to use it.

I approach outdoor brand shoots with the full image library in mind: hero images, details, verticals, horizontals, portraits, product close-ups, and natural in-between moments. That gives brands more to work with across websites, social media, ads, email, press, retail, and seasonal campaigns.

Vancouver and British Columbia make a lot possible in one shoot. Forest, ocean, mountains, rain, snow, trails, beaches, city streets, and rocky coastlines are all within reach. For apparel, footwear, watches, bags, activewear, and travel gear, that variety can give a campaign more depth without feeling overproduced. I’m comfortable working outside, adapting to weather, moving quickly, and photographing people in a way that feels natural. Whether the shoot involves models, athletes, guides, creators, or friends of the brand, I try to keep the images polished, grounded, and believable.
